The Galway Races have been taking place this week and run from July 31st to August 6th.

Yesterday was the day for dressing up with Jill Macken, Navan, Co. Meath coming first in the best dressed lady competition and Shelley Smith, Avoca, Co. Wicklow runner-up. The ‘Elegant Hat’ competition which was won by Marie Blom.
